yeah you can buy really cheap ones from lots of places, they are quite useful if your car was ever nicked for relocating it, plus certain models of tracker professionally fitted can lower your insurance premium.
most of them just take a mobile sim that you can then track using the signal sent from the device and pinpoint the location on something like google maps.
when i first passed my driving test more than insurance put a tracker in the car for free and lowered my premium.

I dont mind project cars but I HATE SANDING!!!

I've got tk03 off eBay for £30 brilliant bit of kit. Very accurate and easy to install

i want to get one for my rocco to reduce my insurance.

Insurers I spoke to weren't interested in trackers, unless they have proper accreditation and fitted by a manufacturer approved installer. Even then, the difference was literally pennies

Probably should add that I live in the cotswolds. If I was still in Bradford I suspect it might have been a different story
