Scirocco Register

I have started stripping down my mk2 prior to getting stuck into the bodywork , I can get pattern panels for the floor reinforcements but the sills will need repaired, can't seem to find outer sill panels (pattern or genuine) anywhere .

Question is does anyone know of any other sills , vw or otherwise that share the same or a similar profile... it doesn't need to bee 100% as they are covered by the standard body kit

Don't know if they are a direct fit but I only need the back part near the rear arch for mine.

My mk1 rotbox had mk1 golf sills fitted, with minor tweeks.

Word of warning if getting rhe genuine ones, they only go from the front arch to the b pillar

Just realised you can still get geuine ones at a reasonable price, to be honest from the front jacking points back they are immaculate so it may be the way forward

Where from?

Still listed as current by VW and available through the vw heritage (3 week wait) , same as inner sills
