Removing brake torsion bar thing

Right I'm removing my brake torsion bar thing on my rhd, servo end is all off and sorted. The drivers side end seems to be a bit of a pain though. I've removed the 2 nuts from the bulkhead and the 2 nuts under the bracing channel, Prob is the studs won't allow me to remove the bracket. Are some of the studs removable? I've looked in my haynes manual but it is lacking detail.

Aren't there 2 to undo inside the cabin?

You will have to undo and pull back the steering column mounting in order to clear the studs, because there is a lug on the underneath of the bracing bar that prevents you from just sliding it off the studs. With the studs there you cannot lift the bar up high enough for the lug to clear its locating hole.
