Fuel Lines / Connectors ??

Post by isaidthephil »

I am wanting to replace all my fuel lines this winter with stainless braided stuff. Can anybody give me some info on this?

What I want to know is;

1. What mm piping should I buy?
2. can people recommend good connectors? I am looking at things like this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AN-8-AN8-BLAC ... 3f291ae4df but am not sure whether i can use these on my Facet Fuel pump and Filter King fuel reg etc.

Thanks in advance

Fuel hose for Injection engines should be 8MM Internal Diameter, 6MM carb engines.
I am not sure you need braded hose. Ive used unleded fuel hose with a safe working pressure of 10 bar. Working pressure is 8 Bar. I got all my bits from these guys

At a price, a ridiculous price!
You should be able to get all the bits to replace all underneath fuel lines for about £50-60 Against £160

I am running a non-standard setup so off the shelf won't really work for me. I need to run just one line under the car from my Facet Fuel pump to my Filter King Fuel Regulator/ Filter. Then I just need to run a line to my Bike Carbs.

Should be simple enough I just wanted to see what diameter to get before I order it all also what adaptors people use as I don't want to use crappy clips, I want it all nice and solid and to look tidy.
