Since my over the counter blaupunkt went kaput I've been toying with the idea of finding a suitable original type replacement for my Scala. What was fitted in this age of car that would be moderately original?
Looking for something that would pretty much slot straight in and give me radio functions as a minimum. I will overlay a Parrot MKi9200 for digital music and BT telephone for anything else.

Original in my 1990 scala (and my wifes 1990 GT2) was a Blaupunkt Melbourne SQR39 but as they didn't have a radio as standard they could be specified as that or the Augsburg SQR29, Cologne or the Montreaux

According to the 1990/91 brochure, the GTII had "Panasonic" and the Scala "Blaupunkt".
My 1990 GTII came with what appears to be the original Panasonic - K01.

There's a Blaupunkt in my Scala, can't remember which model.
