Back wiper staying on.

ok i have got in my g2 mk rocco 91 8v 1880 for the last 2 days and when i strated up back wiper days on even when i try to switch it off it goes off when i switch the engine off and back on again is this earth proplem ? ummmm please help , many thanx.

...just out of interest, if you blip the rear wiper stalk, does it stop? (the operation of it it that when you wash it it'll stay on till you turn it off, at least thats how it is with mine!).
other option, remove the related fuse!

ok it stays on till i switch the engine off, even when i put the washer on for it, i have taken the fuse and put it back in and it still does it, it did not do it today as in stay on when i switched the engine on for the frist time.

It could be the wiper relay. Is there anyone close to you with a rocco or even a Mk2 golf you can swap and test?
