Scirocco Register

it seems when im driving along now the rocco is juddering like she's trying to stall but with high revs like when im going 30mph+ then when i dip the clutch she cuts out. But if i just leave her for a bit she works alright again :s anyhoo, me and my dad blamed the carb because it sounds like she's being starved of fuel or something?
any help would be great :)

it shouldnt judder if it not getting fuel at that speed, the force of the car will keep the engine going regardless of if it was running anyway.
does it do it when its cold? or all the time?
could be a bit of rust in the tank that blocks the fuel pipe hole and starves it of petrol.
you can get in to the fuel tank from under the back seat, try and see if there is stuff in the fuel and if there is you need to clean the tank out :(

Sound like either your pissberg is giving up or rust in the tank. If this it the case then it probably means your filler neck is knackered and fallen in on itself. Stick your hand up the rear arch and have a feel, if it is then you'll need to flush everything out or it'll reek havoc.
