Has anyone on here refurbed their callipers as I'm struggling to get the slider bolts back into the callipers without pushing the nylon sleeve inserts out.
I've been trying all afternoon with no success.

Lol, I'm still sulkin with it so have left the callipers alone for a bit before I hurl them out in the garden.
I can't believe they are this difficult to get to stay In while gettin the slider bolts in!
Never have this problem when changing pads, it's only since I put new rubbers and this nylon bush back in it won't go together properly.

Not having done it or really know what I'm talking about but another idea you may of already tried......have you tried putting the sleeve on the bolt and sliding both into the caliper?

Try filing a small chamfer on the parallel bit of the bolt where it joins the thread so it leads into the nylon sleeve easier, and dont forget the high temperature grease to make it slippery :-o :-o

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a special tool for the job.

Bit late but for anyone else with this problem there is an easy fix. the nylon sliders will not fit into the rubber bush because of a build up of rust on the inside of the caliper body where the rubber bush fits. simple fix is pop out the bush and clean the inside of the hole in the caliper body with a dremel or similar.

Once done the rubber bush will pop back in and the the nylon slider will slip in no problems , the corrosion is enough to squeeze the rubber and prevent it all reassembling
