Scirocco Register

am looking for an mk2 scirocco speedo cable part number 534957803, it's obsolete from the dealer and vw heritage don't have any, try to look at gsf, can't find either, is theres any one carrying this?? is a mk1 golf cable will do.

You could try Volkspares in Croydon, 0208 683 7442. They sell a lot of old parts.

they got golf one but not scirocco, will they fit if I look in ETKA, part number 172957803K is 1795mm long and the scirocco one is 1860mm,

I guess it's my only option

Looking at VAGCAT, the Golf one closest in length 1795mm is part number 172 957 803K. It is 65mm shorter than the MK2 Scirocco one.

otherwise ill have to find a used one

Is it worth a shot? What is the cost?

32.50 pound + shipping from vw heritage, might found it cheaper somewhere else.

Call VW Heritage. They are having Gemo make a batch of Mk2 speedo cables (534-957-803). I've got one order, I'm sure they'll be happy to sell you one too.

Hi Sean,

Thanks for getting in touch.
I've spoken with our product managers and they are going to order 25 on next month's purchase order.
I would imagine an 8 week wait from now, to see them with us.

Probably easiest for club members to order direct from us, they'll get 5% off the retail price of them as club members.
I'll get a post put up / or email you when they land.

Hmmm - my understanding was they already ordered these cables some time ago and were just waiting on them from Gemo. I'll check with Heritage as well. Maybe Andy can shed some light on this.
