6 x 9 speakers

I have some worn out old speakers in my parcel shelf (I know I should not of cut the shelf but I did it years ago when I was young) so looking to replace them, any recommendations?
Currenty have some Kenwoods 3 way speakers in there, need something loudish as they need to drown out the engine, road and wind noise in the Mk1....
.... Not looking to spend a fortune as the car is just for weekends but still want a good sound..
What have you got for me
