condensation in engine bay

Post by pasenah »

Hi,
I've just fitted some of this sound proofing,

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vehicle-Sound-D ... B004HFVXQO

And after the first drive this morning have noticed a fair bit of condensation on it, and the engine.

Could this be a problem?

Condensation when it's still warm? That's strange, you'd think it would be when cold

Sounds like you might have a water leak somewhere when hot

Nah didn't look like a leek, coolant level is fine.
I'll see how it goes and see if it causes a problem or improves somehow.
