While going through my mothers paperwork on her storm, owned for 26 years! There is an official letter from vw stating how many storms were made and how many in each year, if someone could tell me how to upload pics I will take a pick and post it up, if someone wants a copy of that letter I am happy to send anyone a copy if they send a stamped address envelope, please pm for my address thanks, you will be surprised!!

I see all those eBay ads that talk about "only 600 mk2 Storms ever sold" will have to be slightly revised!

Well 578 is close to 600 but interesting that only 99 were sold in 1985, and I found that 17 mk1 storms sold in 1979 was also intersting, I once owned a 1979 storm, the original press test car HVV 503T god how I wished I still had that car now! Anyone know where it is?

Back when VW gave a crap about their customers. What a nice guy to take the time to do that!
