Scirocco Register

Hi all, this is Steves other half hijacking his account! Im trying to get him some side stripes made up which Jack92 is kindly doing for me, but i need to know if they would have originally been matt or gloss? He's got a 1984 GTi and the stripes are dark grey and red. The red is faded to pink so not sure which shade of red they would have been originally either. I can ask him but would like it to be a surprise if possible!

They are matt/satin finish originally. Definitely not gloss. The red would be fairly close to VW Mars Red - if you used that as a guide you wouldn't be far out.
