Scirocco Register

I've just bought my first Scirocco!

I'm usually playing with air cooled VW's but the prices are getting ridiculous nowdays so I've ventured into water cooleds. My daily is a Mk3.5 Golf cab and now I've treated myself to this little beauty.

1982 Mk2 Scirocco, 1.5 auto, 78k miles, one family owned from new (Three owners on the log book, dealer, then the husbands and then the wifes as he thought he would croak it first), dealer serviced up to 58k. Only a few days MOT left and a months tax. Rear arches need replacing and one front wing apart from that it's very clean. Interior is mint apart from slight wear on drivers seat bolster.

Got the train to Surrey to pick her up Tuesday, drove home perfectly, the 1.5 and auto box work together well, nice cruise home at 65-70.

Forgot, she's also got a webasto sunroof fitted, again in perfect condition. Apparantly there is a lot more history for the car, previous owner is going to dig it out and send it to me.
