Right - now that I think I've got my heater blower problem sorted, on to the next issue!
(PS thanks for everyone who's helped so far - especially ian)
My 'heated' rear screen is anything but - in fact two of the elements work and the rest don't.
i had a look at the elements and don't see any breaks so do you think there is another issue?

I think that if some of the elements work, it's going to be a break in the elements that don't. However, it's worth checking the wiring where it comes through the top corner of the boot - it often gets frayed/breaks up there.

If some elements are working, it must be getting power. If they aren't working very well, it could be a power supply issue, but broken elements is more likely
