Any one on here? I thought it was only the mk2 storm limited to 250 per colour not the mk1?

I saw the car but don't recognise it. I was under the impression that nearly 1000 MK1 Storms were sold?

I don't think mk1 Storms were ever limited edition - they were just the top-spec model, and went through a couple of iterations.

Just re-read a couple of the old brochures on the Drivers Found website, no mention of 'Limited edition'!

If I remember correctly, the Corrado Storm, was limited to 250 models of each colour (blue and green).

I just don't understand why he has went to the effort of colouring in the number plates on half the pictures :)

He's very negative about his car! I think his Mrs has made him sell and he's made it sound at bad as possible so he can keep it!

Also about the gearbox, would 4speed parts even work in the 5speed? Surely they are a different animal due to the overdrive and extra ratio?

they have now been welded up (by arguably the best Scirocco restorer in the country).

I have seen this in the flesh and would say the seller is just being truthful.
