anyone know the part number for the early mk1 italian clear indicators?

Cann't help you there as this was not original by Volkswagen.

Only aftermarket as I know.

i found a vw parts list that identified yellow and clear variants, but no part numbers. was only in italy

Never heard of that, not even in Germany where I asked friends of mine.
