Electric central locking as standard?

The Mk2 door I'm stripping from an '89 Scala has electric central locking, but the mechanism looks good quality and the body is marked 'mes swiss made', is this a (later) standard fit or a high-quality aftermarket part? Install looks tidy but has crimps I wouldn't expect from the factory.

Haynes says standard central locking is hydraulic.

Central locking was not standard on a Scala in 1989 nor was a sunroof, split folding rear seat or electric windows, but they did get a leather steering wheel!!!
