Has anyone seen one of these before??

There were 3 versions available apparently Convert-Lock (mIne), Univer-Lock and Surf-Lock.

Received a call from the Lady I bought the car from saying she had found a Ski Carrier that she had for her previous Scirocco and would I be interested in it.
I picked them up yesterday and it appears that they are a VW Item bought from the VW agents in Innsbruck in 1983.

Thinking of getting them re powdercoated and fitting them to the Rocco as a display with some period ski's

You'll need to wear period ski wear as well. Obviously.

I love this kind of stuff. You must get them looking good and fitted, especially on a white car, it will be perfect. And the Roger Moore look is a definite essential addition as well.
