Nooooooooo
That will be a bit longer bike ride when my car is broken and I can't drive it.
Very very good people to get advice off as long as it is in the VAG group.

Timmy knows other cars too. He is a BMW encyclopedia.

it's a lunchtime start til whenever.
stress it's an open day as opposed to a 'working on cars day' for the team.
will get more info and post up what i can - loads of parking space and a trip to the pub afterwards on the cards too.
Thinking of visiting the Phirm...

Hi all,
I've been thinking of visiting the Phirm in the new year, if I'm not totally broke from Christmas as usual!
Lots of good comments from others on here, and they seem the best place to take your Rocco.
Just like to know some things from others who've been there before:
-Do they do bodywork? Im after a few small dents removed and a little touch up here and there. (paintless dent removal?)
-Anyone had a full "rebush" of the suspension? Wishbones, top mounts, rear beam, antiroll bars etc? How much would they charge for this roughly?
-I heard they do a free "new owner" type of service, whats included in this? I suppose its not a full service as such, maybe they give discount on a full service?
Welcome any other comments on them, and what they do best for roccos....
Cheers.
Chris

Hi Chris, they have a 'sister' company called Phirmfx who are based in rushmoor near farnham re the paintwork - two of my cars have been there as have cars owned by redrum and bill on here.
they do a full 'first time visit' inspection on a car - was talking to jbo re his 16v about this last night infact. its essentially a very thorough pre MOT and check of the settings for you - free of charge apart from any major work they discover needs doing. i like to look at as a way of finding out what you DONT need to worry about.
always best to pre-book too.
they have done bushing on all my cars - just give them a call for a quote and an appt - labour rates = £55 + vat last time i checked. a few local tecchies on here may be able to help out re that for you however if they have spare time.
Tim has become a bit of a rocco fan in recent years and 'likes' the rocco crowd compared to some other elements of the VW world.......
