Scirocco Register

Hi!

I'm currently tracking down a leak on my GT2 and when searching the forum i repeatedly see suggestion "door membrane".
Is this some sort of platic sheet, which is supposed to be attached to the doors after i remove the door card?
What can be used to replace these? as there is nothing between my door cards and the doors, apart from some sounddeadening stuff.

Would bathroom membrane and waterproof double sided tape do the trick?

Any heavy duty plastic sheet will do the job and yes double sided tape will hold it in place.

I found that clear polythene used for protecting the likes of Art materials, even builders type materials wasn't too thick to work with and good quality double sided worked fine.A bit of heat from a heat gun (very carefully) can help make it a nice fit..
