i have always loved sciroccos since i saw one driven by boumsong off this forum many years ago at college... it just so happens that he went on to sell me both the pieces of crap sciroccos i have owned
i once had a gt which i had to refit a kr in which looked like this ;

and then... due to a leaky fuel line... became this....

this was... somewhat upsetting, and was the last vw i owed for a while.... untilll...... THIS;
the green piece of junk...

for a costly sum of 175 quid. cant complain i suppose. i had to dump the head back on a new steering rack(which was a right hastle to find) new gear linkages and build it all back up so i could take it to its new home for a while

i then had this clever idea that i would paint it satin black

which was a bad idea... now i think im going white. so i removed the body kit (any suggestions to getting the sticky crap off that was left behind) and fitted a passat grill... i think this will get hate... but i like it!

and then lowered it

and bought these for after mot...

8.5 and 7.5 inches wide... which sorta fit like this;

so... i need to sort the wings out, get a side repeater and headlight bulb... and get it through an mot! then it will be paintwork, and wheels fitted and lowered!

id like to say this will be a quick project, but unfortunately they never are... im thinking about kring it.. but that wont be for a good while.

tell me what you think!

Yep - seen the progress elsewhere, good effort on giving a rocco another bash after the fire.

so to date-
iv rebuilt the head,
the gearbox and block are bolted in- after having to change the cups on the gearbox(remind me NEVER to do that again... what a bloody pain)
the gear linkage is on, shafts are in,
coolant pipes are either on, or in place to fit,

long old thing this is!
