I need a new set for my 1.8 scirocco. Does anyone know where I can get some?

GSF sell them, I belive they are brass?..

Sorry to hijack this , what's the best course of action if the a bolt won't tighten and is causing a leak?

If its just that the nut has seized then cut it off and put a new one on.

You can buy Dremels for about £30, and they cut through nicely and are handy tools to have as they get into awkaward places.

You could take the nut off and fit a new one, from memory they are only pence each.

I think I've found the VW part number 175129650 hexagon nut, self-locking M8. Taken from vagcat.com

I searched the part number and found this there is some other sites listed aswell.

They are copper not brass!.. :blush:
