Early (series 1?) Chrome Bumper Sciroccos

Hi guys,
Just wondering how many of the early chrome bumper Roccos there are likely to be in the UK? The ones with the smaller indicators (do you call this a series 1 like the golfs?). I've always wanted one, but not sure I've seen any for sale in the uk. Wondering whats my chances of finding one here in the uk, or do I have to start looking abroad...

I'm not sure how many exaclty are left but you dont see them often - i'd say two or three come up a year if that but thats just in the UK online adverts - that makes them tricky to value, people slap on the 'Rare' tax but seem to forget all about the demand factor, they dont sell like mk1 golfs. Just be patient and if you have one within a year then youre doing well!

Yeah I have a nice mk1 golf, I might put it up for swaps, and see if anyone wants to swap their mk1 rocco for my golf. Probably a long shot though

Saw this one that sold in January, he says in the description theres only 20 odd left of the chrome bumper versions, dunno how true that is or where he got his figures though.

I'll probably end up importing one like I did with my mk1 golf after I couldnt find a nice one in the UK
