poly bushes

does anyone know if the golf/jetta ones will fit a scirocco mk2 as i cannot find any listed on the poly flex website for a scirocco.

mk1 golf ones should fit, mk2 golf won't.

cool its mainly the front ones i require , arb bushes, front arm bushes . car is all over the road and it dont feel good. has horrible clunking noise when go over speed bumps and pot holes and causing my front tyres to scrub out on outer edges.

It's a gut wrenching sound isn't it? Have you taken the poo shields out from the front? That should help no end. Think I've got a full set of mk1 golf bushes on mine.

have to admit though, if i were to do another mk2 rocco (and let's face it, i will sooner or later) i'm definately not going to use poly bushes again. they were what took the scala over the line on the handling to comfort graph

which ones did you use Nate? i understand the red ones available on ebay - vibtratec??? can be pretty harsh, I have the purple ones, cant recall the brand but C and R sell them, on the Scala and even with the fandango wheels/coilovers find they're ok in even London and on the more rocco friendly sweeping a and b roads.

Also, interesting years ago I got USA Autotech bushing all round on the original Brm car - including their custom top mounts and they made that car on its Bilstein sports kit suspension feel more supple compared to the factory spec ones. All of this kit still going strong 18+ years/65k miles later on the reshelled car.

Don't overlook the rear axle bushing either - any hint of rubber cracking get them changed.

i think it was the ones that rally design do that i had. from memory they were yellow. mixed with stock springs it'd probably not be too bad, but with my nice stiff jamex/eibach suspension, it was too much. partly why i sold it.
