Scirocco Register

Not done the tracking on a rocco before there is only one adjustable track rod end so how do you go about adjusting it ???
Any advise welcome

Set with Dunlop gauges, and adjust the one side until desired toe in is reached. 4 wheel laser tracking will tend to struggle with these cars

or fit an adjustable arm on the other side and 4 wheel adjust as per normal. Worth also checking track and camber at the rear before you do the front. This can be adjusted by shimming the stub axles. Protyre used to do it for 60 quid

I am useing four wheel laser tracking so like you said might not be best
For the moment I have turned the steering wheel so one side is set right and then I have adjusted the other out to match,it tracks straight but of corse the steering is to cock will it be ok this way?

Once it is correct and running straight remove the steering wheel and replace in the correct position. You will need a 24mm socket!

I thought that was how it was done but seemed a little dodgey but hay why change a habit of a life time
