Rear calipers

Post by Village Idiots »

Apologies in advance, as this is for my Corrado!
Standard it has the Golf Mk2 type calipers.....prone to sticking.....a real pain in the bum.
Will Mk3 or Mk4 type go straight on?
Will standard hoses fit?
Anybody got any opinions, views, etc?

Many thanks in advance.

Mk4 calipers require brake hoses with banjo attachments to the calipers, so you´ll need to get some hoses from the likes of Goodrich.

C&R used to (probably still do) sell Mk4 calipers plus the applicable Goodrich hoses as a kit, which is what I did back in 2005.

C&r still sell the hoses for certain as i was looking at them today, if going for mk4 calipers be aware there is two sizes 38mm and 41mm, go with the 38mm
