hi i want to change my wheels on a 1988 gt2 the rims i have are 14 inch what wheels can i fit i am unsure about offset ect will golf wheels fit all my tyres are shot due to being stood for a long time so i thought a second hand set of alloys/decent tyres would be a good option what price should i be looking at i was thinking of about £200 as i am on a budget any opinions on what look good on series 2 scirocco,s thanks

Any 4x100 VW wheel will fit and shouldn't rub if offset is around 35-45. So most MK1 AND MK2 Golf wheels, some Polos, and even some MK3 Golfs. A good looking wheel is the BBS that were fitted to MK3.5 Golf cabriolets, they are 4x100 offset 43 and are 15". Lots of choice out there bud.
