Front anti-roll bar brackets

Not even going to try & undo mine they are in such a state.
Just about to order some from CrazyQuif, but thought I'd take a quick look on ebay.
Some enterprising person has spotted a market !

Part number 171 411 333 A - Pipe Clip outer - Also been reproduced and sold by VW Classic Parts.

I have to say that I have been told by engineer friends that you should NOT use stainless steel for parts used under stress.

I would agree about not using stainless, i read of several people who used the stainless rear clamps having had them crack during normal road use, i dont know if these are the clamps from crazyquif or not but your better sticking with coated steel and coating them with something to protect them from rust, lets face it the original items lasted 20 plus years so they will still outlast the car
