Thinking of buying a set of these. Anyone bought a set before?

Rear drum brake kit

The old ones are quite worn (and I think slightly warped) and I think this is giving a bit more travel on the pedal. Hoping this might give a bit better feel...

It doesn't seem to have any of the springs - you'd probably want to replace them while you're at it. GSF used to do a set with all the springs in.

Indeed, new springs and worth changing the fluid also while you are at it.

I actually recently replaced the springs (3/4 months ago I think) as I was replacing most of the rear brake system including new slave cylinders and a full bleed of the system.

Improved it a bit, but there is still a lot of 'movement' in the pedal before it stiffens up. Doesn't quit have the feel I want. Does anyone know if there is a bushes kit for the brake servo joints?

did you properly adjust up the shoes before putting it back together, or just rely on the self adjusters? i did post up how to do it a while back (have a search)

I adjusted them as follows:

Fitted the shoes as usual, then pinged the adjusters down as far as possible before fitting the shoes.

Once together I aligned the wheel nut holes with the adjusters, and using a small screwdriver pinged these as far as they would go. That improved the brake feel, but hasn't made a massive difference.

I suspect the original shoes are still on it, and there is a fairly large step in the drums currently on it. Do you think changing to new shoes could take up some of the slack?
