Checking which fusebox I have

Hey guys I need to find out which fusebox I have - is there anywhere I can look to find this information?

Rohan, you will find the part number/s on the back of it, which will help in tracking down which models it was fitted to.

Just incase anyone else is ever interested ive managed to find the 2 different kinds of box used.

There are:

CE1 Fusebox: Note the 3 spare fuse holders at the bottom.

There are actually several versions of the CE1 fuse box, the main difference is an integrated fuse puller, while others had a metal clip attached to the side of the box for its fuse puller.

CE2 Fusebox: Note the lack of spare fuse holders. Plug and play with newer VWs using CE2.

Going to try and unclip it from the front tomorrow to take a look at the back, do I just need to unscrew the bottom and pull it forward slightly?

Unscrew the screw at the bottom, then lift it so that the lugs on each side come out of the indentations they sit in. You may need to swing the bottom of the box forward slightly before you can lift it.
