Hi just trying to find my old 86' GTS I had when I was 15,which I unfortunately sold to fund a mini and 2years later would now like to buy it back or atleast see what its like now so is it out there?

actually its a combination of 3 sites

DVLA Enquiy sure enough gives you most of the info tax liability, date of first registration, etc.

If you log into ebay and pretend to sell the car you can find out how many previous owners the car has had.

askmid.com tells you if the vehicle is currently insured or not..

Wish I never sold it was in great nick sold it for £500 12 months MOT and 6months tax.

Its a twin of my GTS, have a look at project DARE in the projects and resto section. Sure yours was in better nick than mine was !!

It was near mint and totally origninal aswell even had the cassete player,want it back.

I remember that car being advertised, nearly came to buy it myself but I think the distance was too much at the time. Looks good. I always regret selling my first Scirocco. Just checked and it's still taxed... don't know if it's with the same owner though.

We had loads of interest put it on the auto trader with those pics actually we live in sheffield were you the person that was going to come with the money if it didn't sell to the bloke that was looking at it? It sold 6 hours after we put it on the autotrader.

No, I don't think I ever rang up about this one... sounds like I would have been disappointed anyway.

Yes there was 2 people with cash ready wanting to just come and fetch it,the bloke who had it lived in macclesfield.
