Engine mounts

Hi All,
Just after a bit of advice really. I'd like to potentially upgrade my engine mounts to be poly mounts. Can anyone advise on where I can get such things? Or whether I should by standard and track some poly inserts?
Any part numbers or advice would be great...
Cheers in advance
Andy

You could take a look at VW Heritage, they sell uprated mounts such as Vibra-Technics. They don't come cheap though!

I'm running the bug pack kit all round on everything apart from the engine mounts (I think). Its fantastic but in my experience the uprated engine mount fan make everything really uncomfortable.

Unless you only ever use the car on track I wouldn't go with poly mounts for the engine. Vibratechnics are stiffer without transfering too much noise and vibration to the cabin.

I had poly mounts (suspension bushes/engine inserts) on my previous road scirocco and the noise and vibration increase is significant over just suspension bushes. In fact things used to ramdomly undo and/or drop off, particularly after long motorway journeys.
With them fitted to the stripped out Rocco I have to wear earplugs if travelling anywhere over 30-40mph...

Just renewing a tired rear gearbox mount with a new genuine item makes a noticeable difference.

Thanks for the feedback gents, it's all very helpful. The car is going to be used, primarily for the track, and maybe the odd sunday jaunt.
Looks like the bugpack inserts are pretty handy with standard units. Can anyone advise me on the part number I'll need, the car is a mk2 gt2.
Many thanks,
Andy
