Hi, can anybody help me?
How big is the manifold?
Does it go down to the center pipe or is there a down pipe before this which manifold is connected on then goes to the center pipe ?

G Beats.Been into MK 2 V.W Sciroccos since 98.Now on my fourth MK 2 Scirocco. R.I.P two MK 2 Scala DX Engine's.Sold GT 2. No longer have a mk 2 v.w Scirocco as it was stolen back in February 2020 .Or another one know have a 1980s BMW.

Unless someone has previously fitted a four branch manifold ( one piece from the head down to the centre pipe) it should have a manifold, then a downpipe, which then goes into the centre pipe.
Don't ask me....it was like that when i got here !

Yes. That is more commonly referred to as the 'four branch' manifold. The four flanges bolt to the cylinder head and the otherend joins up to the centre pipe.geebeats wrote:ok many thanx m8 but this has a downpipe bult into it does'nt it ? here---
