Ashtray Bulb.

Ok I have spoken to vw classic Heritage and they can not find the part number for the Ashtray Bulb I have all so looked on vag both vw classic and vagCat only have part no listed for CIGARETTE LIGHTER Bulb.Can anybody help ? Many thanks.

N0177512, 12v 1.2watt wedge bulb.
Can get them at Halfords £1.99

Your main dealer can still supply them, probably cheaper as well!

Not sure about the Mk2 but on my Mk1 Golf and Mk1 Scirocco the cigarette lighter bulb also lights the ashtray, there is a little gap between the two.

No they don't on a MK2, but the bulb is the same part.
