Steel wheel refurb???

Does anyone know of anyone who would be able to refurb a set of wheels I got my hands on cheap, I will do the centre car a trip myself, also has anyone had this done before??

Refurbing a set of steel wheels is not difficult and easily done by yourself. A way of speeding the process up is to get them sand blasted to get the years of crap and rust off and smooth them yourself before painting. I reckon on no more than a days work including painting.

Off course you could get them powder coated, but will be more expensive. The end result would be better though.

On the steel wheels I use in the winter I just paint them with Silver Hammerite and a brush. Needs to be touched up every year and you can see the brush strokes when close but they are winter wheels and the paint is only £9 and it has lasted 3 years!

refurbed my own, cost about £30 in paint wet and dry for the wheels and trims
