I'm currently swaying between buying some JOM coilovers or Spax.

The JOM are nicer looking and slightly cheaper but I'm concerned about the quality.

The Spax I think are a safe bet but not as "pretty".

SO what do peeps think of JOM?? Any experience welcomed.

Can't rate the JOM specifically, but I've got a set of Hottuning coilovers on mine which i believe are pretty similar.

The ride is firm, but the rebound leaves a little to be desired on bumpy road surfaces especially at speed. That said, I only paid £150, so you get what you pay for. Out of interest, waht is the price difference / budget and what do you want them for?

Budget around £500 ish and I wanted coilovers with re-bound adjustment so I can soften for road use but stiffen up for track days. Unfortunately as I binned the old suspension complete with top spring seat and mounts, going down the springs and dampers route was going to be problematic.

I posted the same question on CGTi and after a few replies placed an order for Spax.

The JOM look good, but I felt safer with the reputation of Spax even though they are £100 more.

I wasn't really prepared to jack the budget up another £300-£500 for Weitec or KW nice though they are.

Think my fully adjustable Weitecs were £450 ish. No dampening adjustment but I wouldn't use it, the cars low enough and grips like the proverbial as it is

Ordered my Spax yesterday lunch and arrived today by courier.

How's that for service. Direct from the manufacturer courtesy of Venom Motorsport and a great price too.

I wanted coilovers with adjustable damping and finally got sorted for only £60 over budget.

Couldn't resist opening the boxes and they do look nice. Pictures to follow on my build thread later.
