Replacing complete fuel system

Hey,

I need to clean out my fuel tank because it is full of rubbish and by the looks of it over the years the fuel lines have had their fair share of mods and repairs.

I thought while I had the tank off I would replace all the fuel lines and everything which could be clogged up with tank crud.

My question is, does anyone know what would be needed for this job, and what I could salvage from the current system?

Thanks

Andy

You'd want a decent quality set of pipe flaring tools, about 7m of 8mm (5/16) pipe, a pipe bender. You'd also need a few pipe unions to fit the metering head and fuel fittings. Get a mate to help you with the tank, its a bit annoying on your own. New straps are still available.

Alternatively, you can carefully take the lines away and have them re=produced by your local motor factors. (not a bad way to go)
