needing paint!!!

howdy folks, finally made a start tonight to getting the rocco refurbed, got the front all stripped down to the bare slam panel, but to cut a long story short where is the best place to get a good matching paint, NOT RATTLE CANS though and preferably solvent based!

Local bodyshop suppliers. Where the professionals in your area go. If you live near me, Ribble Valley/Blackburn, I could be more specific. Don't leave your bare metal without primer or you'll develop surface rust.

looking to get solvent based paint tho! bodyshops i believe are only allowed to legally use waterbased paints nowadays because of the "isocyanates" released when spraying solvent base paints!!

I have no trouble buying cellulose based from my bodyshop supplier, no isocyanates in this.

cellulose paint can be sold for commercial and agricultural use, but not for cars. if anyone can explain this, i'd begrateful! there is an exemption for classic cars (i.e. anything in the taxation class "historic vehicle" to preserve OE spec

all a load of bllx if you ask me! think i've got a litre of 2 pack clearcoat in the shed if you want it?
