Scirocco Register

hello to everyone, i have been on here for a while and thought i would upload a few pictures of my progress with my mk2 scirocco gt2 that i have fitted a zender z400 body kit that i removed from a rotten scirocco (white one) that my brother bought and at the moment i am putting a AUM 20vt engine in. I have gone abit crazy with all the bits im buying for it, new bushes.. ball joints.. bearings .. brakes.. but it will all make for a nice ride when finished :)

we parked almost opposite each other at Ultimate Dubs, on the SciroccoNet/Scirocco UK stand. I've got the sparkly red Mk2 with gold wheels... Yours was getting some looks ;)

I think i can remember a tidy red mk2 at UD mate.. must have been you. And i am using a O2J gearbox with mk4 cable shifter and a B&M Short shifter. And as for the clutch set up i am using a lightened g60 flywheel with standard luk clutch kit and running the SEAT cable clutch system.

Meh looks chaved up IMHO, Need to get yourself a MK2 syncro.

A little update of a few hours of removing battery tray, expansion tank bracket, washer bottle bracket, and vacuum tank bracket... Plug welded the holes, sealed and skimed. Rust removal to the slam panel.

A quick update of my 1.8 20v engine.. new gaskets, water pump, cambelt kit, thermostat, seals etc, many hours of cleaning and spraying... how it stands at the moment.

Engine bay is now painted, and i am happy with the results. Gearbox is ready for fitting to engine, with a new lightened and balanced flywheel and vr6 clutch.
