when taking my dashboard out i decided to check all the bulbs as the interior seemed very dark at night. Binacle clocks and rheostat all work ok, but the light behind the light switch, the cigarette lighter, hand brake warning light and ashtray bulb were all blown. Fitted new bulbs and only the cigarette lighter one is actually working. Tested all the bulbs out of the car and they all work ok.
As the non working ones are all on the left of the steering wheel, i was thinking there may be one earth that connects them all. Havent checked the manual as the wiring diagram isnt that logical to me compared to others i have seen in Haynes manuals.
Anyone shed any light (no pun intended) on this?
