wide grill?? where can i get one?

Hi all, does anyone know where i can get a wide grill from, on the last few sciroccos i had i could find them ten a penny and they were easy to get hold of new, can't find anywhere that sells them anymore, just an american shop for 100 dollars with postage
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

They are rare as they were only on low spec cars and the first run of GTS's.

used to be able to get them from volksbits for about 30 quid but they don't do them anymore, just a cheap mod one but thats all i'm after.

Keep searching the usual media, European ones etc or put an ad in the wanted section.

you can chop a mk2 golf grill to fit . done it on both of my roccos now, looks good.

I have a feeling B2 Passat grills are good to use as well...

ahhh thats what i'm after, have a long grill off my mk1 golf spare so might try that first, theres a recession lol, is it an easy mod?? just chop and fit??

When I got my Scirocco last year I wasn't sure I liked the look of the twin lights, so I chopped an old Mk2 Golf grill down, put it loosely in place and stood back to admire my handy work, I then realised this looks too much like one of Dagemhams finest, a Cortina Mk4/5 and promptly put it all back together as was, then chucked the "ruined" grill out. Everyone to their own I suppose and no offense to Cortina enthusiasts, but to me it just didn't look right.

how about B3 passat "grille" with twin round lights? very crude p'chop, but i actually quite like it

if you look at the last page you'll see another grill I've done with the inner lights from a Golf fitted :)
