Regarding the fuel lines from the metering-head to the injectors, is there a specific sequence in which they should be fastened?
I.e. cylinder 1 injector goes to top right of metering head
or does it make no difference?

It should make no difference at all, the system is continuous so there is no sequence to follow as the injectors are always 'on' if you can follow that ;)
