i have just got a mk2 scala and to say the brakes are bad is an understatement, i have owned 6 minis in the past and they stop better than the mighty rocco
i have looked at some of the other posts about brake upgrades and there are alot of options,i just want to know what the best set up is, what cars they come off and what is involved in fitting them.
the rocco needed almost all the brake pipes changeing so did the cylinders and a fluid change at the same time so there is no bubbles in the lines at all can anyone help or shed light on the matter

all i did to my mk2 was fit fast road pads (avoid EBC ones, they glaze and break up badly) braided hoses and adjust up the brakes properly. it stopped, quickly.

you'll probably find that a set of goodridge hoses are cheaperer than "normal" rubber ones. used to fit pagid fast road pads, but i'm not sure they still do them.
