bleeding brakes

ive been trying to bleed my brakes for the last two days and i can tell you they are a pain in the ass!!!!!
ive done it now and finally got my pedal to not be spongy. apparently you have to bleed them diagonally instead of furthest from the master cylinder.
it took me ages to get rid of air bubbles stuck between the rear left and front right brake lines.
goin in for mot tomorrow proof will be if it passes, lol.

woohoo another year on the road!!! it passed the mot, amazingly the brakes were up to the test :shocking:
ive been driving modern cars of late and have got so used to the brakes on them so completely forgot how 30 year old brake designs are.
it really puts the rocko brakes in perspective (really not that good!).
but im a very happy chappy right now. :groove: :bye:

Always a relief after an MOT.
I didn't have to do mine diagonally and they seem to be ok. Like you say they always seem extra poor when you've been used to driving a newer car.
