Hi,
Ive got my rear beam dismantled at the moment, and i'm wondering if its worth having it powdercoated.
Whats your experience, long term?
Or is hammerite the best option.
If I do have it powdercoated, I will do a job lot of other parts at the same time.

Opinions on powdercoating
So many plans, so little time
Re: Opinions on powdercoating
Personally I love it.
Have a peeky eye through my build thread and take a look but I only have certain bits done ad in fairly mute colours. It all gets sand blasted, zinc coated then coated.
Saying that it can be expensive but I have a guy down here in Kent that does it all "at a special price". As long as you want colours he's already using then the price is well worth it. Have used Hammerite in the past (my rear beam is coated in it as it was replaced before I met Frank) and it's fine, no-one's ever going to see it but in an ideal world I'd have it coated.
Southampton isn't a million miles away from me, depending on how quickly you want it done I'm fairly sure I can help
