Removing seats, door cards, etc

Ok so this weekend im going to be removing the seats and door cards (all 4) from wildrider [you'll all see why shortly] but dont want to damage any of it as I do..

I've already removed the rear bench which was simple enough and have been told the front seats are easy too? [Remove front bolt and slide off forward?]

But regarding the door cars (front and back) I had a quick look and bits like the door pull, door handle, speaker shelf, leccy window switches etc seem a little more tricky.

Anyone got a good guide anywhere or any pointers? The haynes is truly useless at this or at least it was for the rear bench!

Thanks to all in advance :good:

For the front seats you need to remove the plastic covers from the runners (behind the seats) - they can be a little tight but move the seats all the way forward and lever them off carefully with your fingers. As you said, you need to undo the bolts at the front of the seats, but slide them out backwards, not forwards.

The door cards are pretty easy too, but probably complicated to try to explain (if you get me). If the card isn't coming off easily, there's probably a screw somewhere you haven't undone.

to remove the doorcards isn't that hard 3 screws in the front {2 in the top 1by speaker grill} 2 in the back 1 underneath unscrew doorpin pull cap forward and undo the screw in the front of the door pull handle
the tricky one is the surround for the opening lever which has 4 small clip bits behind and you need to gently pull it forward and slide it off without breaking them
when you have everything unscrewed you should be able to pull the doorcard forward at the bottom and reach in to unclip the leccy switches and the speaker
if you want to seperate the speaker pod and door pocket you can unscrew it from behind when you have removed the doorcard
dunno on the rear ones tho never had the need to remove them
why you taking it out retrimming it? or just getting a bit ocd with the cleaning?

Rear ones are a doddle. Be careful and just pull them

Thanks everyone! With your advice and once you get going its really actually very easy!

I found the trickiest part figuring out how to get the leccy swtiches through the hole in the door card, but my dad sorted it by flattening the retaining clips (metal ones).

Seats seemed a doddle im sure putting it all back together again will be slightly more tricky but if Ive taken em off I can put em back on!

Thanks again
