Inlet manifold problem.

Sorry for all the question lately, just trying to get my Scirocco moving again...

Anyway, I recently bought a new Weber for my Rocco, it came off a 1.8 8v Golf i have been told. But the manifold it came with doesn't have a water outlet like my current one. Any suggestion what to do? I dont really wanna buy a new manifold as that wold be costly.

My question is, Is it possible to block this off?

I will probably have to get some sort of adapter plate made up I guess, I could possible do this with or without the water outlet. Would be easier without though.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received. :beers:

Ash, to block it off from the metal water pipe? You only need water going to the inlet of you are running a Pierburg so its OK to do. Just connect the hose that would have gone from the metal pipe to the inlet with something suitable in the middle of it like a head bolt - believe they are the correct size

The water comes out of the head though, Doesnt it? The 5th hole.

The manifold I wanna use has no 5th hole.

With you now, is the head off? Easier to get the head ally welded to be honest mate.
