Hi,
Does anybody have a guide, or tips to follow when replacing fuel lines? I can't find anything in the faq or this section of the forum. I need to replace the whole lot.
thanks

Re: Replacing Fuel Lines
Does anyone know where to get a set of 16v braided fuel lines? I want descent ones with all the connectors on, GSF just seem to sell generic fuel lines of a certain diameter. thanks

Re: Replacing Fuel Lines
i've done it a couple of times and never documented it! doh! I'll be sure to document the next time.
Fairly easy really Rich, if you are replacing the lot you can afford to be brutal when removing. Underneath the car, the lines are held in by metal tabs, make sure you don't snap any off when levering them open with a flat bladed screwdriver.
Regards to braided 16v flexy lines, Crazyquiffs mk1 Golf emporium sells them with the correct fittings: http://www.golfmk1.co.uk/
you may need a a couple of short lengths of fuel pipe if you are replacing the lift pump send/return lines too, see if Quiff will throw some in.
