Hi Guys,
Looking for a little advice. I have a 1.8 EX which has developed bearing noise from the differential. I believe the gearbox has been changed in its life as the output flanges are smaller than what is expected on the car, and it accelerates a hell of a quick. Anyways, I digress...
My question is: has anyone had any experience with changing the output bearings on the differential? It seems to be coming from the driver's side and I've had the driveshaft off and the CV joints checked, so I know they're ok, plus the differential still makes a noise when the shaft is disconnected. I need to know if there are bearings available and whether they can be changed relatively easily (I've changed the front and rear wheel bearings before so I'm hoping it'll be relatively similar).
Thanks for the info guys.

Re: Differential bearings
Output flanges should be 90mm as far as I remember.
